Ok I am using a linksys router, eth0 fails to come up because of a host look up failure. However when I delete the /var/run/dhcpcd* file and re-run dhcpcd eth0 comes up. I think some of my host files are set up incorrectly can someone please point me in the right direction thanks. |

Check your /etc/conf.d/net
