The other question is:
I see "sys-kernel/linux-headers-2.4.21-r1" installed. But I use 2.6.5 kernel. Do I need "sys-kernel/linux-headers-2.4.21-r1"?
How to see which packages depend on "sys-kernel/linux-headers-2.4.21-r1"? _________________ -=] Led Zeppelin Forever [=-

Kernel sources and headers are different packages that don't need to be version matched. Yes you do need headers and there are good reasons that things are the way they are. Glibc is perhaps the most notable package that depends on the headers package. _________________ Please read our FAQ Forum, it answers many of your questions.
