Never liked RTFM, but I didn't quite find it on the ssh site as well...
how do I get SSH to listen on my serial port, or get any other terminal program to listen on my com1 port.
I'm about to place my system in a Hosting facility which is about 50 miles away from here, if I ever make the mistake of misconfiguring access of my network cards I want to be able to enter my system via a serial cable. My buddy has a computer there as well, unfortunatly it's FreeBSE.. so he can't help me very much.
Can anybody of you point me in the right direction ? |

Does http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Remote-Serial-Console-HOWTO/ help? BTW, why would your friend want to give a computer mad cow disease, even if it's free? _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |
