Are there new things for our XF86Config and so? I do know font support has increased and stability has improved? _________________ Diplomacy is the art of letting the other party have things your way.

Looks like they just did a minor release to address some security issues.
Here's the xfree86.org security page.
It's also documented about halfway down the xfree86.org homepage. |

I found out that it is *not* a good idea to install it on a new system, with kde following it. A solution is:
1. emerge xfree 4.2.0
2. emerge kde
3. unmerge xfree 4.2.0
4. emerge xfree 4.2.1
There is a bug reported for it, by the way: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9423 _________________ Diplomacy is the art of letting the other party have things your way.
