Well whenever I leave the laptop on X doing no matter what. I know it will crash.
Why? Because this happens every time.
I getting tyred of this and I can't solve the problem I have no error messages and nothing in the logs.
The freeze is total so not eaven a console is available, neither ssh will work.
I went from xfree 4.2.0 to 4.2.99 whith the same error. I have a IBM Thinkpad T22 with savage MX
Help please.

I have a SavageMX in a Toshiba. I had some wacky X problems too and finally had to change to the frame buffer driver for X. That solved all my X related problems at least.

Hi guys
About pm I have pm in the kernel starting at boot time. And I think it is working fine.
About the frame buffer how is tha configured and does it works better than standard x?
About OpenGl I do have OpenGl in Xfree...
