Does anyone know if there is a way to put a delay on the menus in flux... to where there's a delay if I accidently point to one on my way to a submenu? I do that all the time, and it drives me nuts..... does that make sence?

Going through man fluxbox looks like the answer would be no. Perhaps someone knows otherwise. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

I think I know what you are on about but then you should master yourself to slow down a bit.

Slow down? I don't understand.
As far as the menu delay, I mean when I point to a menu that has a submenu, for there to be a short delay. Less then a second. I've checked and asked everywhere, no one seems to know how to do this. I know I'm being pick, but it's my job.
About the speed problem, the whole reason I use Linux is b/c I think so fast. I think so fast sometimes and I'll get about 8 different things going in my head I actually have to go lay down and rest. Maybe that's why I get migrains.
It's not uncommon for me to have 30-35 windows open at one time for me, and Windows just can't handle that abuse. Linux, however, doesn't complain. I was rebooting up to 5 times a day in Windows... I only reboot for new kernels now.

waimea is another *box WM. IIRC, it has some features that Flux doesn't. Might be worth seeing if it has this one. I've tried to emerge it a couple of times, but it just errors. Not worth investigating for me. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |
