|
|
Hey,
I was just looking at the portage emu directory, and I noticed that there is 3 different PSX emus. Any one know which is best (fastest/most compatability)? Also on a side note, does anyone know if there are any good saturn emus for linux out there? I hope this goes in the games forum ^_^ _________________ aiya, tau tong ah! |

Well, I haven't tried any such emu on Linux yet, but epsxe has always given me staggeringly good results on Windows ....
Cheers for raising this topic, I hadn't even looked at the emulators available (other than mame). |

epsxe all the way. I didn't even notice that was in there. Thanks!
One step closer to eliminating the need for Windows (and apparently all gaming systems more than 2 years old)... |

Thanks, I emerged epsxe and it works great so far ! I am playing suikoden II right now and I have found no bugs. It runs faster than my PS, although the music/sound quality isn't that great. Still very cool, since I could never get a PSX emu to work on Windows ^_^. Now all we need is a genisis, saturn and sega cd emu for linux/in portage and we are all set ^_^. _________________ aiya, tau tong ah! |
