Hi there,
I am having some trouble to put gnomemeeting to work. Although I had -alsa in my USEs, it still tries to access alsa cards when I start it. I have compiled also with arts in USEs, but it also does not help me... I cannot get sound to work on it.
My permissions are OK, I guess, as I can do anything else but use gnomemeeting.
I tried to emerge an older gnomemeeting, but it fails miserably and I stopped trying that. Has anybody managed to put it to work without alsa? I'd like it to disable arts automagically, but I would be happy if it worked, at least... |

New Findings:
In the Preferences, it only gives the option of loopback for the audio mic and output.... I have tried with and without esd, with alsa, kernel modules....
EDIT: Now it is working with alsa, arts disabled, no esd.... |
